Terms & Conditions

What are the types of bookings you offer?  
The terms and conditions outlined below apply to all bookings with QHotels whether you make them online at www.QHotels.co.uk or by telephone or in person.  

Booking online with QHotels is quick, easy and completely secure. You will always be offered our best available rates of the day and we won't be beaten on any other comparative or partner website. 

Types of rates: QHotels Properties  
Flexible Rate: When you book a standard flex rate, QHotels will ask you for a credit/debit card number to secure your reservation only. No payment will be taken from your card and you will pay for your room on departure at the hotel. All guests must present a payment card on arrival in their name. (You can cancel your flex rate booking up to 4pm one day prior to the day of arrival without penalty. If you fail to arrive or you cancel your reservation after 4pm one day prior to the day of arrival, you will be charged for your first night's accommodation.)  

Advance Saver: Our Advance Saver rate offers a discount off our Flexible Rate for advanced purchase.  

Full prepayment is required at the time of booking. Our Advance Saver rate is non-cancellable, amendable or transferable and no refund or date change would be given.  

Promotional offers and packages: When you book a promotional package, including seasonal promotions, you will be asked for full pre-payment unless stated otherwise. When you book a golf package, you will be asked for a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of the booking. The balance is payable at the hotel on arrival or in the event of cancellation or non-arrival. All promotional packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. We reserve the right to withdraw any offer at any such time.  

Rates including dinner: Enjoy dinner from our à la carte menu and we’ll give you £5 per person extra towards your bill - you pay £30 and receive £35 credit to spend. 

We do not add service charge to your bill. Gratuities are discretionary and welcomed for good quality food and service.

Drinks: Only alcoholic drinks purchased from the hotel may be consumed in the hotel. We reserve the right to charge the appropriate corkage charge where guests bring in their own alcohol.  

First Aid: We aim to ensure that a First Aider is always available. If you require any medical attention, please contact Reception on 0. For serious medical emergencies call 9 '999.  

Pre-authorisation
For all guests arriving at the hotel, we reserve the right to pre-authorise a credit or debit card for the room rate per night plus an additional £50 per night for extras. The hotel is not charging your credit card. A pre-authorisation is a security guarantee for payment only. Any excess pre-authorisation will be released on the day of departure. If you cannot provide the hotel with a credit or debit card on check-in to pre-authorise, full prepayment will be required on arrival. Once the pre-authorisation has been completed, you may charge items to your room during your stay by presenting your room key card wallet and signing for the transaction.

Do you allow children at the hotels?  
The QHotels Collection properties  
Up to two children aged between 0 - 16 years stay for FREE when sharing a room with a paying adult. Breakfast is FREE for children aged 4 years and younger when dining with a paying adult. For children aged 5 - 16 years, breakfast is £7.50 per child. For lunch and dinner, children 4 years and younger can enjoy two courses for FREE when dining with an adult in our restaurants or bars. Children 5 years and over, dining from our children's menu, can enjoy two courses for £12 or three courses for £17. Children eating off our restaurant and bar menu's will be charged the full listed price.

Upgrade charges will apply if you need a larger bedroom to accommodate your family. When sharing a bedroom with your children, your room could include a foldaway bed, and not all hotels have cots available, so please ensure that you ask at the time of booking.  

Christmas and New Year residential packages are subject to different terms and conditions, which are available on request.  

Children aged 16 and under are welcome to use the swimming pool at the hotel during their stay as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Please note, some hotels will have designated family swimming times, please ask when you book or arrive at the hotel. For health and safety reasons, children are unable to use the gym, sauna, steam room or whirlpool, where available.   

Do you allow dogs in the hotels?
Yes, dogs are accepted at all our hotels. Please view our dog policy here.

To book a stay with a dog, please call our Contact Centre on 0330 107 1599. Stays with a dog cannot be booked online.

Standard Hotel Ticketed Events Terms & Conditions
• All event dates are subject to availability.
• Each individual event will have its own deposit price of at least £15 per guest, which is specified at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Unless otherwise stated at time of booking, full payment is required 5 weeks before the event.
• Your booking will not be confirmed until full payment is received at which point monies paid are non-refundable.
• Unless otherwise stated in the terms at the time of booking, menu choices and dietary requirements must be provided with final payment. 
• An additional charge may occur for dietary requirements provided by specialist suppliers.
• Should you have any concerns regarding food allergens, please ask a member of staff who will provide you with detailed ingredients for each dish.
• All prices include VAT at the prevailing rate.
• Guests under 18 years old may be restricted at some events, please check at time of booking.
• The hotel reserves the right to cancel any event for any reason at its discretion.
• The QHotels Collection reserves the right to change the advertised artistes without prior notice in the unfortunate circumstances of force majeure, ill health, or forces beyond our control.
• The hotel management reserves the right to refuse entry to the hotel and to charge the company, organiser or individual for any damages caused by unreasonable behaviour.
• Bookings over 10 guests may be subject to a separate contract with different terms and conditions.
• Private company bookings may be subject to a separate contract with different terms and conditions.
• Third party bookers may not claim commission on ticketed events.
• All rates quoted are subject to availability and correct at time of publishing.
• The hotel does not allow alcohol, aerosols, or novelties to be brought onto the premises.
• We reserve the right to confiscate alcohol, aerosols or novelties.
