This was my first visit to this hotel in Stratford upon Avon. It was a mini break. The hotel is within walking distance to most of the Shakespearean sites, restaurants and entertainment within the town. It had a nice smell as you entered. The room was very clean with all the necessary accessories which was well appreciated. It was quiet at nights. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. The staff was friendly, courteous and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. There was a good choice for breakfast including alternatives to dairy which is not always available in other hotels. There was a menu on the table which was helpful in case you wanted something else like hot freshly made porridge or scrambled eggs which was different from other convenient nameless hotels available. Excellent value for money. The bar tender, Jake managed to get me a custom made bar meal and said he would charge only the minimum. When the receptionist, Madiha, heard that I was a carer having a respite break, she told me that my parking was on the hotel and was free. Such thoughtfulness and kindness left me speechless and emotional. I can recommend this hotel without hesitating.

A really good two night stay at the DoubleTree Hilton. Room very good, clean and tidy. All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Good location in Stratford only 5/10 mins walk into the town centre. An enjoyable stay, many thanks to the hotel team.

Had a lovely 2 night stay with a friend. So relaxing. Lovely clean hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Everything you could need in the room. Plenty of storage for your clothes. Lovely dressing table. The receptionist staff were particularly helpful and made us feel at home. The breakfast was nice and fresh both mornings, kept topped regularly. Was a really lovely stay and looking forward to coming back

We have just returned from a weekend event at the DoubleTree by Hilton Stratford-upon-Avon and had a fabulous time. The location was perfect, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the food offered excellent quality with plenty of choice. The staff were attentive, professional, and helped make the whole experience run smoothly. Our event went perfectly and everyone had a very enjoyable evening. Thank you to the team for helping make it such a memorable stay—we would happily return in the future.

I've been staying here one night a week most weeks for some time now. I used to stay at the Metropole but much prefer here as it's smaller, the staff are far more friendly and attentive and the restaurant is great. Unlike the bigger hotels, this never feels faceless and you don't have to queue or wait at breakfast. The rooms are well appointed and I've never had to ask for anything to be remedied. Chef Ryan's food is always freshly cooked and piping hot. I normally have the specials which change each week. Really nice place to stay on business and well placed for the centre of town.

We have stayed here many times and always enjoy it. It's in a quiet spot, with good parking and very nice rooms. Breakfast is always good and last weekend, Mahidra on reception surpassed herself with helpfulness! We'll be back.

Super great location right next to town. We’ve stayed here a few times and the staff never fail to greet with such friendless. Chloe on checkout was very kind, suggested more places to visit close by giving us even more reasons to come back! Breakfast was wonderful as always - Special requests always taken care of

The staff here are friendly and efficient. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere. It was very quiet both in and around the hotel. It is right by the train station and only a 5 minute walk into town. A special mention for Amelia who was a great help to us, thank you.

Superb stay, nothing was too much trouble. Great customer service. Will absolutely stay again. Room was extremely comfortable and very clean. Restaurant meal in the evening and breakfast was delicious.

Excellent meal and excellent service from Dangira. She and the kitchen staff accommodated the need for one of us to have a gluten free meal.

Hotel easy to find 5 min walk from town. Large car park which is charged extra on your bill at 11 pounds fifty for 24 hrs. Reception efficient with a friendly professional member of staff on hand immediately to book in. All the staff we had any interactions with were really nice. Our room was ready earlier (we got to the hotel earlier) was no problem. Decent size room either all bits n bobs you would expect in a 4 star. Immaculately clean. Great comfy king size bed .room temp was controllable easily. We had breakfast which really was great we went for full English. We had dinner in the restaurant again absolutely marvelous with reasonable pricing. Our first time there and we will be back. Fabulous 👌

Good location, large room and very pleasant and efficient staff.

Everyone was really welcoming. Room was lovely. What made it extra special for me was a lady called Dangira at Dinner. She was attentive, kind and caring. Thank you Dangira, I was exhausted after travelling nearly 5 hours and you managed to put a smile on my face.

Had a great weekend staying at the hotel during an Easter weekend visit with my wife to Stratford-Upon-Avon. Our experience was good. Especially how friendly and helpful Madiha was from check-in to checkout. It's always nice to have a smiling and cheerful person behind the desk. Her genuineness in ensuring that we have a good experience in the hotel and visit to the town was exceptional.

The reception staff were extremely efficient, helpful, and friendly. They couldn’t do enough to make my experience as comfortable as possible. The whole team works seamlessly together, which really stood out to me. As someone who works in hospitality myself, I know what excellence looks like.
